Autumn is one of my favourite times of the year. Yet I find any time for any photography expeditions in 2019. But I did have a small photo project idea that helped me through a wet and windy Sunday afternoon. During a local walk, I manage to find many fallen leaves all with differing colours. From Green to Red (Caused by the chlorophyll molecules breaking down, yes I had to look that up!)
Now how to stage it?
It was time to get inventive as I have no studio or lightbox!
- A bit of twine.
- A makeshift stand to string the leaves up.
- My grey hall wall would be the background.
- Handheld shot with my Panasonic Lumic G9.
- A final extra burst of saturation and exposure in Lightroom to make the leaf veins pop out.
My mini Autumn project was complete and I’m pleased with my 1st attempt as something like this.
